A 1940's crime movie starring Robert Taylor as the recently paroled gangster Johnny Eager, and Lana Turner as the socialite Liz Bard. Johnny has recently been paroled from prison, and he's eager to get back to his old ways. He meets Liz, and they're both immediately attracted to each other, then he learns that she's the stepdaughter of the District Attorney responsible for sending him to prison. He decides to use her as leverage against his nemesis.
